100" Trail & WRPCO Rules

*Please put a ribbon around trees you wish cut on the 100' strip. Trees must be dead and considered a hazard or they may not be cut by the power company this winter. The ribbon can be any color.

*No burning of weeds on the 100’ set back

*Members may improve the 100’ foot set back but it will be at their own expense and you need the permission of the WRPCO.  Example of this would to plant prairie grasses or trees that are native to the area.  Approval must be obtained from the both WRPCO and the Association. Details will be forthcoming.

*Oak rot was discussed again any trees on the 100’ set back are the responsibility of the WRPCO.  If a member wants to have a tree treated to stop the rot it would be at their own expense.  If there is a tree you feel needs to be removed contact Darrin. Best defense for Oak rot is to plant trees other than Oaks.

*There is a change in the view shed dimensions:  It is a 4’ path with 3’ on each side of the path.  Approval must be obtained from both WRPCO and the Association. Details will be forthcoming.

*Stairway Maintenance is our responsibility but we need WRPCO permission.

*Path Chipping will only be done on an occasion when trees are being removed.  No regular chipping of paths is planned.  According to Darrin there was no agreement by the WRPCO to make this part of there maintenance.

*We can chip trees from our lots onto path but if trees have oak rot the trees need to be dried out & or bark needs to be removed.

* Tree that are located on WRPCO property that pose a hazard to persons or structures will be removed at WRPCO expense. If you are aware of such trees please contact Darrin Johnson. See below.

* WRPCO does not add wood chips to the commons trail unless as a result of tree clearing.
